JINR Summer Student Program 2025 for International Students:
Applications are invited to apply for the JINR Summer Student Program 2025 in Russia. All international students are eligible to apply for the Russian Summer Student Program. Students who want to study in Russia on a Fully Funded Scholarship are encouraged to apply IELTS is not necessary, and there is no application fee. Undergraduate, graduate, and doctoral students are all eligible to participate in the JINR Summer Student Program in Russia.
The Joint Institute for Nuclear Research (JINR) is offering a fully funded eight-week summer program for students in 2025. All nationals from across the world are eligible to participate in the program. For eight weeks, participants will remain in Dubna, Russia, working with JINR experts to solve scientific and engineering problems. The Joint Institute for Nuclear Research (JINR) pays for all of the costs, including airfare, visas, insurance, lodging, and stipends. Formerly known as the START Summer Student Program, the JINR Summer Student Program aims to connect JINR with the next generation of Young Minds by attracting Bachelor’s, Master’s, and PhD students with a focus on science, engineering, and information technology.
START (ex-Summer Student Programme) is an onsite JINR student program designed for students under the age of 30 from all over the world who specialize in science, engineering, and information technology, beginning with their fourth year of undergraduate studies and continuing through their first year of PhD. Our primary objective is to support JINR laboratories in their search for young, skilled professionals who will continue to work at JINR.

JINR Summer Student Program 2025 in Russia is a fully free program for foreign students. Details are given below:
- The student purchases the tickets from their home or university city to Dubna and return, and JINR reimburses them after all necessary paperwork is submitted.
- After all necessary paperwork is submitted, JINR reimburses the visa and health insurance costs.
- JINR makes the reservations and payments for the lodging.
- The JINR laboratory’s finances are used to pay the student’s daily allowance of 1000 rubles.

Eligibility Criteria:
- To be eligible for the Program, you must be working on a high-level research project under the guidance of a JINR specialist.
- Selected students are asked to spend six to eight weeks in Dubna during the specified time frame.
- Following their visit, they write a report summarizing their efforts, which is then uploaded to the Program’s website.
- All international students worldwide are eligible to participate in the program.
- candidates with expertise in STEM (science, technology, engineering, and mathematics) domains.
- Candidates may be in their first year of a PhD program or in their third year of undergraduate studies.
- This course is intended for people who have never taken part in the START program.

Prior to applying, validate that the two primary conditions listed below are fulfilled and supported by the appropriate documentation:
- Your area of study aligns with one of the scientific domains of JINR.
- You are a first-year postgraduate student, a master’s student, or a third or fourth-year undergraduate.

- Await the Team’s approval of your form. An email with your login credentials will then be sent to you, allowing you to apply for a session as a student.
